Dr. Candy Gunther Brown – Board Chair
(Ph.D., Harvard University) is Professor of Religious Studies at Indiana University. She is author or editor of six books and hundreds of articles and lectures. Titles include: Testing Prayer: Science and Healing (Harvard University Press, 2012) and Global Pentecostal and Charismatic Healing (Oxford University Press, 2011). Dr. Brown is past president of the American Society of Church History and a founding board member of the Global Medical Research Institute.
Dr. Mary Healy
(S.T.D., Pontifical Gregorian University) is Professor of Scripture at Sacred Heart Major Seminary. She is a bestselling author or editor of fourteen books and hundreds of articles and lectures. Titles include: Healing: Bringing the Gift of God’s Mercy to the World (Our Sunday Visitor, 2015) and Deliverance Ministry (International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services, 2017). Dr. Healy is a member of the Pontifical Biblical Commission and the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity.
Dr. Craig S. Keener
(Ph.D., Duke University) is F. M. and Ada Thompson Professor of Biblical Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary. He is author of thirty-seven books, with 1.4 million copies in circulation, as well as hundreds of articles and lectures. The books, which total 19,000 pages, have won fifteen (inter)national awards. Titles include: Miracles: The Credibility of the New Testament Accounts (Baker Academic, 2011) and Miracles Today: The Supernatural Work of God in the Modern World (BakerAcademic, 2021). Dr. Keener is past president of the Evangelical Theological Society. He is married to Dr. Médine Moussounga Keener (Ph.D., University of Paris), a former refugee in her home country of Congo; as co-authors of Impossible Love: The True Story of an African Civil War, Miracles and Hope against All Odds (Chosen, 2016), they speak together on reconciliation and healing from ethnic conflict.
Dr. Wonsuk Ma
(Ph.D., Fuller Theological Seminary) is Distinguished Professor of Global Christianity at Oral Robert University. Raised in Korea, Dr. Ma has lived in Vietnam, the Philippines, and the United Kingdom. He is ordained by the Korean Assemblies of God and is the founding and past president of the Asian Pentecostal Society. He is author or editor of twenty-eight books and hundreds of articles and lectures. Titles include: Asian Pentecostalism (APTS, 2025) and The Pandemic and the Holy Spirit: From Lament to Hope and Healing (ORU Press, 2024).
Dr. Randy Clark
(D.Min., United Theological Seminary) is the founding president of Global Awakening and of Global Awakening Theological Seminary. Dr. Clark is author or editor of more than thirty books and ministry training manuals and travels extensively across fifty nations to teach and pray for healing and impartation of spiritual gifts. Dr. Sean McDowell
(Ph.D., Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is Associate Professor of Apologetics at Biola University. He is author or editor of twenty books and fifty articles.
